Course Description

RIBO Category: Technical

In today's climate, terrorist acts are becoming a real threat for many businesses.  But the combination of uncertainty and potential for highly concentrated catastrophic loss makes it tough for insurers to provide coverage for.

That said, it's still important for brokers to know about this risk, the industry response, and where/how to place coverage if necessary.

Learn about:

  • History of Terrorist Acts
  • Government Response
  • Typical Policy Exclusions
  • Markets for Terrorism Insurance
  • Risk Underwriting/Pricing.

Students must pass the final exam before a certificate will be issued.
