FP Canada's code of ethics is reviewed with reference to the various elements such as fairness, integrity, loyalty that customer, objectivity competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, etc. A summary of the FP Canada's complaints for various allegations indicates that diligence, integrity, and forgery are the three main reasons for client complaints. Some of the cases on the FP Canada website are reviewed and the penalty for each case is provided to indicate the extent of enforcement undertaken by FP Canada. IIROC business conduct and client account rules are reviewed which are a guideline for dealing with clients, due diligence, suitability, sales practices, communication, keeping records, and supervision. Finally, the rules for education and experience for various roles within the security industry are provided.
Students must pass the final exam before a certificate will be issued.
